New information on the website

Our snowboards and skis are made of high-quality materials. Providing that use and storage recommendations are adhered to, they withstand the workloads for several seasons. In support of this, we offer a 15-month warranty for all our products.

This warranty applies only to the first owner and cannot be transferred to another person (including the buyer of a user under the Warranty product).

However, strong impact damages from the side, behind or front caused by such solid objects like stones, glass or metal will not only do inevitable harm to the appearance of the board or skis but can also disrupt the structural integrity of the board or skis at once or when in use. Keep your snowboard and skis away from strikes of other skiers’ equipment, from falls on a hard surface or other aggressive mechanical impacts.

We reserve the right to refuse the warranty repairs if the impact damage is obvious. Such as you can see in the example below.

the reason for refuse

Excluded from coverage under this warranty is the following: the damages that took place during transportation, storage or improper use of the product, ordinary wear and tear, under maintenance or modifying.

The warranty does not cover the damages caused by misuse, carelessness or damages showing the evidence of nonprofessional repair.

Also, please bear in mind that the warranty does not cover the insert blocks of the “Freecarve” snowboard line with Titanal design (Titanal FC, World Cup). If you anticipate that your snowboarding style or other circumstances can cause the mentioned breakdowns, we recommend you the option “Additional strengthening of Titanal constructions”. In this case, you get the full warranty for the insert blocks. The price of this option is €100.

Warranty exclusions

There are the following warranty exclusions:
• damages caused by transportation or improper storage
• damages caused by improper mounting or adjustment of the bindings
• damages caused by abuse, misuse or neglect
• damages caused by self-modification and making changes
• damages showing the evidence of nonprofessional repair
• damages caused by knocks and bumps
• damages caused by falling
• damages caused by ordinary wear and tear
• damages of the insert blocks of the “Freecarve” snowboard line with Titanal design (Titanal FC и World Cup)
• damages caused by improper riding (jumping on the snowboards designed to slalom)
• minor deviations and damage not affecting the use of the product

In case the product needs warranty repair the buyer sends it at his own expense. We shall return the repaired product on the company expense. If the repair is not covered by warranty the product will be delivered back to the buyer at his own expense.

Each snowboard has its own limit strength, therefore we strongly recommend following the directions for use. The snowboards are designed only for running on slopes, so it is prohibited to do the following:

- flex strongly the tail/nose of the snowboard;

- dig into the soft snow on high speed;

- make strong jumps landing on the nose of the board when moving down on high speed.

Any falls of a rider can also result in the board damage.

Please be reminded that there are definite board models for different riding styles!

With all the advantages of phenol, it also has disadvantages. Phenol is very hard but very brittle and any side impact will cause the sidewall to crack.

We encourage you to exploit the equipment carefully. To prolong the life of your snowboard and skis, please read our use and storage recommendations.

Recommendations for snowboard and skis use.

1. Regularly apply wax to the base. Riding without the wax for a long time leads to the destruction of the base material.
2. Use only a high-density carry bag. It is prohibited to transport the equipment in the open luggage wagons or on the roof of autos. Traffic reagents can fall into a porous structure of the base of a snowboard or skis and cause destruction of material properties.
3. Do not keep a wet snowboard or skis in the bag for a long time. This can cause rusting of the edges.
4. Be careful when tightening the binding screws not to overdraw the thread. Use only original screws or equivalent. Always check the tightness of the bindings. Never ride when there are 3 screws instead of the designed by the manufacturer 4 ones.
5. Store the snowboard and skis in a vertical position under constant temperature and humidity and avoid direct sunlight.
6. Protect the snowboard and skis from side impacts. Avoid bumping into the equipment of other skiers. Do not shake off the snow by stomping the tail on a hard surface. Avoid crashing the nose into a metal fence near a ski lift.
7. Do not forget to sharpen the edges, especially for riding on a hard pack and ice. The sharpening does not directly affect the structural integrity but will give you better control and more effective braking.

While riding the sports boards there is always a chance to touch stubbies. As a result, pieces of plastic become obstructed under Titanal, such damages are not covered by the guarantee.

To protect the Board from such damages, the edge must be sharpened at an angle of approximately 30 degrees. We do this before the sale!

Repair at home

If you’ve found delamination of your snowboard or skis, please do not attempt to repair them on your own by means turned out to be at hand. The warranty covers all types of delamination in case if the product has no marks of self-repair.

Flexible types of epoxy resins are used in snowboard and skis manufacture.

Never use the glues based on cyanoacrylate (such as “Superglue”) for gluing even the small pieces as these glues become brittle when solidified.

If you need to continue riding take your delaminated board to any ski-service. These services have necessary epoxy resins and pressing equipment for gluing. This operation will take about 10 minutes for repairing and a day for resin to dry out. The repairing won’t be expensive. Never ride on a delaminated board or skis. Ski-services can be found everywhere.

Let’s continue taking care of our boards!

What way can you tear out the inserts? Take your board, set up hard bindings of catec or similar type.
Then put up the bindings and begin to move twisting the board by your feet. One edge of the bindings will bump into the board; the other will be lifted by the foot. As a result the bindings will work as a lever (nail drawer) which tears out the inserts.

Your feet work as a nail drawer tearing out the inserts out of your board. No matter how firm your board is and what way we try to protect it, the inserts will be torn out and the board can be split.

Do it this way and our board will be broken!

Let’s take SLALOM snowboard which is designed to be equipped with the plate. Let’s set up ordinary bindings on it without any plate. Then put on the bindings and begin to jump, do somersault, land on the tail, into the snow, etc.

Slalom board is designed to be used with the plate and to be used for slalom. It can bear landings and some kind of definite blows, but it will just crack or brake under excessive efforts which crook the tail and the nose. Slalom board is designed to be used for slalom only.

Don’t forget that while riding on soft snow the nose of the board will easily sink into the snow when your body continues inertial movement forward. In this case you can easily get an injury or break the board.

The way to brake you snowboard?

There is an aluminium tail bar in the tails of all our board models except the “soft” ones.

This tail bar protects your snowboard but being misused it can cause splitting of it.

Sectional view of the snowboard tail resembles the axe stuck in a log.

Much people shake the snow off their snowboardsbeating the tail bar against asphalt.

Doing it you just kill the snowboard with your own hands. Being stricken against the asphalt the metal tail bar Actually splits the tail of the snowboard.

In order to remove the snow from your snowboard after you’ve finished riding you need to do the following:

- Before you mount the bindings apply wax on the top sheet and work it in.

- Apply special composition to the top sheet to reduce the amount of snow clinging to plastic.

The rest snow can be easily shaken off by the gloves.

Let your boards live long.
